Zelai: Qlik Edition Automated Qlik Quality Reviews

Adoption follows quality. So measure it.

Zelai: Qlik Edition grades your Qlik Cloud content automatically. It reviews apps, scripts, data models, lineage, sheets, and master items against a 64 point quality standard across 8 categories, then assigns each app an A to F letter grade. Leaders get portfolio level quality and capacity risk in one view; developers get a ranked list of findings with a suggested fix for each. Reviews run read only against your own tenant over MCP.

Zelai: Qlik Edition is not public on AWS Marketplace yet. Zelai: Free Edition is available there now.

Overview

What it does

Most Qlik portfolios have no shared definition of a good app. Quality drifts, and oversized, slow apps quietly burn Qlik Cloud capacity. Nobody notices until a reload fails or the capacity bill jumps.

Zelai: Qlik Edition applies the IPC Global 64 check Qlik quality standard to every app in your tenant, automatically and on a cadence you set. Each app is scored across 8 quality categories and graded A to F. Findings are weighted Critical, Major, and Minor, and each one carries a suggested fix and a projected score after remediation.

Why teams run it

64 checks, one standard

Every Qlik app scored across 8 quality categories and graded A to F, so good and risky mean the same thing across your whole portfolio.

Findings with fixes, not just scores

Each failed check carries a severity, a suggested fix, and the projected grade after remediation, plus release blocker flags for your governance gate.

Quality tied to capacity

See which oversized, inefficient apps inflate your Qlik Cloud Data for Analysis consumption, and where coaching or rework pays back fastest.

What ships

How it works

Connect once, then run on a cadence

  1. 1

Connect your tenant. We connect the analyzer to your Qlik Cloud tenant over MCP, read only.

  2. 2

Baseline the portfolio. Every app scored against the IPC Global 64 check standard, graded and ranked by risk.

  3. 3

Set the cadence. Reviews run on your schedule and at release, before an app reaches production.

  4. 4

Act on the findings. Dashboards show what to fix, who needs coaching, and where capacity leaks.

Read only, by design

The analyzer never writes to your Qlik Cloud tenant and never modifies app content. It reads metadata, scripts, and object definitions to produce the score.

How you buy it

Three ways to engage

AWS Marketplace covers the subscription. The other two are scoped directly with IPC Global.

One-time assessment

Fixed fee per portfolio

Ongoing monitoring

Subscription per tenant

Reviews on a cadence, dashboards kept live, quality tracked over time.

Governance gate

Built into your releases

Every app checked against your standard before it reaches production.

A good fit for

  • Teams running many Qlik Cloud apps with no shared quality bar.
  • Leaders who need portfolio quality and capacity risk in one view.
  • Managers tightening the Qlik release process across several developers.

What it does not cover

Zelai: Qlik Edition measures and monitors quality. Hands on remediation, meaning rebuilding flagged apps, fixing data models and scripts, and targeted developer training, is a separate professional services engagement scoped by IPC Global.

Pricing

A contract for the reviews you plan to run

Refund policy

Contracts are purchased for an agreed number of app reviews and are generally non refundable. IPC Global will review any billing or service concern in good faith: contact support within 30 days of the invoice date and we will issue a credit or refund for units charged in error, for reviews that failed to complete due to a fault in the service, or where the service was materially unavailable. Contracts may be cancelled at any time and will not renew; reviews already performed remain payable. Professional services and remediation engagements are governed by their own separate agreements.
